Ever get the feeling that history ...

Is something you only find in books?

The conversation was contentious
and difficult at times ...

I thought the same thing until ...

Participating in the Summit in the Swamp.


That's not its "official name,"

But as far as I was concerned, I was witnessing history in the making.

But by the end, common ground
and a possible path forward was found

By the end of the multi-stakeholder gathering ...

We might have even succeeded in getting a major water project back on track.


Not that there still isn't plenty of work ahead.
