History of drought

The above calendar graph shows the history of drought in Big Cypress National Preserve.  The bigger the data point, the drier the preserve.  Orange indicates moderate drought, i.e. when the center of cypress domes are mostly dry (except for the alligator holes) and red indicates times when the water table is 1-3 feet below the ground surface of the center of the cypress domes.
