Wrong side of inflection point

The swamp hit an inflection point in March.

It sunk from above to below the long-term water level line.

the long-term normal

And now, just in early April,

We are poised to drop below our normal "low-water" ebb, an event that usually occurs in mid May.

Or in other words, we're about 7 weeks drier than normal.
