Fall Funk appears over

It's too early to tell if it will be a cool winter,

But I think it's safe to say our "fall funk" is done.

Comparison of this fall's air temperatures so far (blue and red) compared to last year (yellow)
Definition of Fall Funk:

Fall funk is defined as the 6-8 week period after Labor Day when "hot and humid" (and rainy), i.e. summer like, conditions still prevail in south Florida.

With the dreaded fall funk now over,

We can focus on the next (and highly-anticipated) milestone of fall: our first "official" cold front, i.e. when the nighttime low temperature drops below 60° F for two consecutive nights.
