That happened quickly

Just when we though cold air might never arrive,

January rewards us with 12 days of official winter

This bar chart reports the annual number
of official days of winter, i.e. any day that
the daytime high
doesn't rise above 70° F
for Naples Florida from 1970 to present

Maybe reward is the wrong term.

I'm not sure how many more of these cold days I can take.

This calendar chart shows the history of cold
days for Naples Florida.  Green dots indicate days
that didn't warm up above 70°F.  Blue dots didn't
rise above 60°F and red dots 50°F.

The long term-term annual average is 18.
