They didn't seem to mind.
They were visiting from Boston where their daytime temperatures (i.e. highs in the 60s) are currently cooler than our nighttime temperatures (i.e. lows in the seventies.) If we only had more daylight hours, those sorts of temperatures would still be producing afternoon storms.
They did lament not seeing many gators.
Meanwhile at a culvert I spotted no less than ten (see below).
