Super Hydrograph of Lake

Here's an eco-hydro-operational view

of Lake Okeechobee's stage over the past seven years.

The above hydrograph provides an eco-hydro-operational view of Lake stage since 2009.  The background color coding indicates levels of high water (i.e. when large coastal discharges occur), the desired middle range (i.e. the wetting front is within the interior levee marsh), and drought (i.e. when pumps are activated to move water out of the Lake).  The dotted white line shows the long-term median stage level as calculated from 1993 to present.
Current stage is within the desired "littoral marsh" zone.

That means no large releases to the coast.

Could be an interesting spring with the Super El NiƱo on the way.
