Don't count on rains filling up the swamp over night.
Raising the water table will take time.
The water table has inched up but it still has a long way to climb before the cypress domes fill up and spread water across the swamp. The water table is currently about 1.5 feet below the center of the cypress domes and 1 foot below normal for late May.
June is our rainiest month by soaking in season, too.
