Dry seasons of recent past


The chart above provides a weekly rainfall comparison for this dry season (to date) relative to the five previous ones.  So far, it's been our abundance of last summer's wet season rain and our one winter Big Rain Day (in late January) that has sustained water levels in the swamp.  But there's no time to breath a sigh of relief yet: April and May are our highest Evapotranspiration months.  Water levels can drop quickly into drought mode if we don't have a couple more storms pass through.
