Citizens of Naples utter a collective "brrrrr"

Does winter exist in Florida?

As a season, no, but we do get a handful of cold days.

This bar chart shows a history of the number of days each winter, from 1970 to present, that daytime high temperatures stayed at or below 70° F.  And yes, I know what you are thinking: brrrr.

What exactly is winter in Florida?

Answer: Any day that the daytime high doesn't exceed 70° F.

So far this winter we've had five.
