End of seasons?

There's a seasonal anticipation with the water cycle:

For South Florida, it's soggy summers and spring drought.

The wet lake of the 1990s
gave way to drought in the 2000s ...

I wonder what's next?

But what happens when the seasons don't quite materialize as expected, not just one year, but then another and then one more.

Quicker than you know a decadal trend has emerged.

And just when you come to terms with accepting it as the new normal, that's when another long term trend is starting to emerge (usually right in front of our eyes, although it takes a couple years to fully soak in).

I'm holding out hope that it's a turn for the good.
