Sand management on winter beach

It almost looks like snow.

Of course you can't walk through snow with bare feet.

Although I wished I'd worn shoes.

My feet are still cold from walking barefooted on it for a sunset walk.

Sometimes I wish the the grains of sand could melt before.  That way we wouldn't track them through the house. Sand management is an important consideration ...

When you live near the beach.

Our sand at Lake Michigan can look like snow after it's been blown around too....but I have to admit your cold sand would not compare to our frigid sand right now - 30 degrees with heaving winds right now! I'm looked at it from the comforts of my car yesterday!! (Trade you!) Brrr!

Ahh, but it's a small price to pay considering some of the alternatives.

I would love to live near the beach. Walk on the sand barefooted. All those grains of sand I'll feel on my toes. It would be an everyday occurrence that will be cherished.
