|A recent downturn in Turner River|
has us wondering if it needs another fix
That's the case with the Turner River.
The keystone restoration action also coincided with a period of above-normal rain. That had us convinced for more than a decade that the river was back on course. But looking back on the past 5 years of data suddenly we are seeing a different story instead: the hydrograph is charting lower than expected, closer to the partial restoration picture (1989-1996).
Looks like we still have more tweaking to do.
River restoration is a constant upstream fight.
