Unfiltered swamp water served daily
Water will always take the path of least resistance. Did you guys get a big rain?
Glad you were only grazed.
Not much: the storm clouds parted over Naples (only 2-4 inches). But the Miami East Coast got thoroughly dowsed (++10 inches). Just goes to show these storms are impossible to precisely predict.
C-51 basin got hammered. Anecdotally, I do not recall seeing so much rain in a 48 hour period. Out to tide it goes (via the Lake Worth Lagoon, unfortunately), allegedly at a record rate of 9600 CFS.
Interesting ... I'm not so familiar with that basin or its structures. I did noticed that the S-10s and S-11s were opened to full capacity in the days following the storm.
