Why it's neither the heat or humidity ...

If it's not the heat, but the humidity that makes it hot ...

That's the case especially in Florida during the night.

The animated graph above compares Naples, FL summer heat index, during the day and night. Florida cools off on the Fahrenheit scale a good 15-20 degrees during the night, but the relative humidity increases to 90 percent, too.  This animated graph does not include mosquitoes which, especially during night, are animated, too.  

But I've always find Florida's evenings,
especially after a storm, rather comfortable.

Except for the mosquitoes (especially after a storm!).
