It's the humidity more than the heat that indicates Florida's "hot season" is underway. As you can see from the chart above, nighttime lows have consistently stayed above 70º F for the past few weeks. What we haven't had many of is 90 degree days.
As you can also see from the chart, that should change in the weeks (and months) ahead.
Fortunately there's shade in the swamp.
Don't believe the myth about it not being cool.

Okay, maybe not "cool" ...
But definitely less hot.
