Shark Slough is not yet full to the brim ...
But its ridge and slough portion is fully wet.
The gates that feed it aren't scheduled to open to July.

The tropical wave (likely the D storm of the season) developing could bring you more rain than you want depending on the track. Some model estimates of over 10" in spots in the next 5 days. I hope you don't get that.
It's definitely been rainy in our corner of southwest Florida. Off and on rain, although today for a good part it was downright steady.
