In summer garden country all that matters is that the water barrels get filled. For this particular barrel (and rooftop) that means around 0.3 inches.

Hope you're having a great time! From your pictures, it looks like a wonderful place!
We could do with a good downpour. Our water butts are almost empty and the ponds in the forest are shrinking visibly.
We have gotten some rain here in the Mid-ATlantic but not enough to bring the lawn out of dormancy.
We sort of got stuck here in Belgium. Internet access has been sporadic, about once a week. I've been uploading in advance because of it.
