Here's more Groundhog Day images of Big Cypress National Preserve, from about 500 ft high. The clouds were a surprise, not to mention the half inch of rain that came with it (and even more south of Tamiami Trail). Usually it's blue skies on February 2nd in south Florida, but not this year. Now the cold air from the other side of those clouds is gushing down the peninsula: it's forecast to drop into the low thirties tonight. In the morning I'll be driving Alligator Alley (below) to Ft Lauderdale, about a 2 hour drive from Naples.
